Marsha and Elizabeth have always worked together. As children they painted and created together under the tutelage of their Mother. They worked together to create Barbie houses, forts out of blankets, and fancy ways to ride bikes around the block. In High School they flipped burgers together, they were roommates in college and both worked the front desk of the dorm. Later they worked together at the local hospital in Admissions. Then life started changing for them both…weddings, babies, moving across the country from each other. A love for old things and a flea market booth brought about their next great adventure. Primitive embroidery with a little nudging from the local Cross Stitch Store turned an entrepreneurial dream into a Needlework Business.
Bent Creek is made up of two sisters and a Michael (Elizabeth’s Husband). Three people with different strengths, we all have our pieces of the pie we are in charge of but we wouldn’t be, couldn’t be pumpkin pie without each other…
Cross Stitch was not on our Radar.
But we are Believers and we have a Very Big God that had a different plan for us.
He has blessed us beyond measure. So…Bent Creek would also not be Bent Creek without all the others that have worked together with us. God blesses us through our dear Families and friends, Gigi, Susan, Cecilia and Ruthie, Mitchell, Suzanne and Cathy from Claremore, designers who have become friends, distributors, product creators and suppliers, the Local Cross Stitch Stores, the Stitchers!!! and our Momma.
Marsha and Elizabeth have always worked together, and hope to always, until the last train pulls into the station.
